One of my favorite subjects. Most of what I have done in this field is on film. I was not able to spend a lot of time in this field, but this style of capturing images was ingrained in my shooting style; I look at most situations and think how can I tell a story with the shot. Anticipatinon is key in this field, especially when shooting sports. I still find that anticipation is key to most any image capture session. I try not to get in the way of what's going on, but simply capture a moment that gives meaning to the short slice of time taken out of context.

I have built a slide & film duplicator that I'm using for quickly capturing the film images to digital. Go here to see the setup. It works quite well, considering it's taking an image of a positive slide, taken from a silver print. I wish that I still had the negatives.

All of the B&W shots here were taken with Kodak Tri-X film, and the sports shots were usually push-processed due to low light conditions.
